Salesian
Youths FC was founded at the Oratory of Don Bosco in Gozo. As its
name manifests, it was born in that memorable era between 1947 to
1965 when this philanthropic complex was administered by the Salesian
Community of Don Bosco – a community which always took sport
with an educational and pastoral aim. The
Beginning |
From
that year of 1937 when Gozitan football started to be organized
up to the beginning of the Second Millennium, no Gozitan team gained
and won the successes and records as the great Salesian Youths FC.
Its name shall never be forgotten from the history of Gozitan football.
This team gave honour to this sport and placed Gozo on the map of
this sporting category.
